We currently have vacancies for the following:

Relief Early Childhood Educators

We are seeking enthusiastic educators to join our early childhood educator relief team for our two Toowoomba centres: Kath Dickson Education and Care Centre and Kath Dickson Occasional Care Centre.

Successful applicants must have:

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent ACECQA recognised qualification.
• An ability to foster and support the development of young children.
• A demonstrated ability to collect and interpret documentation relating to programming for a mixed age group.
• An ability to plan, implement and evaluate effective child-centred programs and environments in any age group.
• A demonstrated ability to work closely with other team members.
• A demonstrated understanding of the principles of safety, hygiene and children's rights within the parameters of duty of care.
• An ability to plan for the inclusion of children with complex needs.
• The ability to work cooperatively with team members to provide a safe, hygienic environment for, families and staff.
• A willingness to positively mentor and assist other staff members and students.
• An ability to foster positive supportive relationships with families, build on respect and effective communication.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
• Current Positive Notice Blue Card.
• First Aid Certificate including Anaphylaxis and Asthma management.
