Board of Directors

Kath Dickson Family Centre is governed by a Board of Directors to oversee its community operations and obligations. The Board meets on a monthly basis and is involved in the decision making process for the organisation.

The Board of Directors holds the following positions:Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary and Directors (2 – 7 members). All these positions are voluntary.

		Dr Craig Russell Chairman Dr Craig Russell has been a Medical Practitioner for the past 19 years. He is currently a Skin Cancer Doctor, Specialist General Practitioner and a Director of the Darling Downs Skin Cancer Clinic in Toowoomba. As a tireless worker and contributor serving the community, Craig has extensive experience of management committees and currently sits on the Board of Kulila Kindergarten (Toowoomba), among others.
		Mark Jocumsen Vice Chairman Mark Jocumsen is an experienced business strategy and transformation consultant, with strong strategic and entrepreneurial flair. He is currently engaged as Project Manager of the ERP Pronto System roll out for the Wagners Holding Company. He was previously Principal Consultant with Stategenics, a highly innovative and rapidly growing business strategy and transformation firm based in Toowoomba. Prior to Strategenics, Mark founded the Toowoomba based business improvement consultancy, Better Business Outcomes in 2006. He remains as Director of this company.
		Claire Membery Secretary Claire is a Lawyer with CLO Lawyers in Toowoomba, practising in Property Law. Aside from her legal interests, Claire is passionate about wildlife conservation, helping to ensure that nature will be around for future generations. On weekends, she and her husband typically enjoy getting out and about exploring nature with a kayak. Travelling is also a favourite pastime.
		Mick Harding Treasurer Mick Harding is a Director at McConachie Stedman who specialises in working with SMEs, franchises, trades and primary producers. He prides himself on his solution-orientated approach and enjoys working with clients and their businesses to strive for continuous improvement. By identifying challenges and the solutions to overcome them, Mick helps business owners to improve systems and efficiencies. Outside of accounting, Mick is a sports enthusiast, enjoying swimming, playing soccer and camping.
		Tyrone Pearce Director Tyrone Pearce is an active community member from the Gunggari people of the Maranoa region of south west Qld. He proudly represents his people as an Indigenous Education Ambassador with DWEER Canberra. Tyrone is currently working in the construction industry applying his carpentry trade skills on the Toowoomba by pass.Tyrone is passionate about Kath Dickson Family Centre and the work being done towards working with our local Indigenous community to bring change for our children of the future.
